Buick LeSabre Radio/Stereo Replacement Instructions

For those who personal a Buick LeSabre, the method is straightforward and doable in little time. 1. Open the hood on your LeSabre and disconnect the unfavorable battery cable. Loosen the nut holding the cable in place and slide it off the battery terminal.
2. Use your fingers to pry unfastened the local weather management trim panel. The panel runs all the length of the dashboard and should be removed. Retaining clips maintain the panel in place and will disengage when outward strain is applied. Begin on one finish of the panel and work your approach to the other, popping the clips unfastened as you go. Take away the panel and set it aside.
3. Use a flat-head screwdriver to come out the AC vents. Take away the only Phillips screw in every vent cavity.
4. Use the screwdriver to pry the trim panel free around the radio. Clips also hold the radio panel in place. Apply outward pressure to disengage the clips and take away the panel.
5. Take away the Phillips screws holding the stereo in place. To remove the stereo, slide it ahead and disconnect the cable from the again of the device.
6. Slide the cage included together with your new stereo into your sprint adapter kit. Join the antenna cable and wiring harness from the dashboard to the back of your new stereo. All stereos have slightly completely different set up instructions, so refer to your owner’s handbook to make sure you make the proper connections.
7. Slide the dash adapter and stereo assembly into the dashboard and screw it into place. Like stereos, all dash adapters have slightly different set up directions, so refer to the instructions included along with your package for specific installation steps.
8. Replace the radio trim panel. Substitute the screws within the AC vent cavities and snap the AC vents back into place. Also snap the local weather management trim panel again into place and reconnect your battery.
